Financial Controller
Motorcycle Operations - Sywell
SCH is responsible for the final mile delivery of motorcycles for a number of motorcycle manufacturers. This activity is expanding which is why we are seeking a dynamic and organised financial controller to join our team.
This is the perfect opportunity to contribute to the success of SCH whilst gaining valuable experience in the motorcycle logistics.
Working Days/ Hours: Monday – Friday / 08.30 – 17.00 / with a possibility of flexible working hours.
Salary - £30,000 – £35,000
The Role:
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate financial records for the business, monitoring daily throughput volumes from the workshops, and converting this data into clear financial information and reports.
With a keen eye for detail, strong numerical skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently, you will ensure that our accounting and reporting procedures run smoothly while carrying out the responsibilities outlined below.
Main Responsibilities
* To be the main contact on site for invoicing / reporting enquiries
* To learn and understand BMW systems and how they interface with the role
* To work closely with Invoicing administrator on month end targets, job card / warranty values and submissions
* To accurately monitor and report the daily workshop output
* To manage, and control site spending, Credit card control forms - ensuring all purchases are backed with a PO system
* To Monitor and accurately update site staff hours
* Control site petty cash
* Identify and deliver ongoing improvements to the current admin data recording process
* Ensure all invoicing submissions are completed on time to group finance
Additional Responsibilities
* Occasionally assist with other functions of the business
* Communicate professionally and courteously with all SCH customers
General responsibilities
* Be aware of and adhere to company policy and procedures
* To ensure that the company's H&S policy and procedures are strictly adhered to at all times, by maintaining and instilling in others, a safe working environment
* Perform any other relevant task delegated by the General Manager according to company or business requirements as long as they are within your skill set and competence levels
* Act as an ambassador for the company at all times, and encourage personnel to the same by your example
Requirements

* AAT Part Qualified preferred
