Contract: Long‑term, full‑time (Temp to Perm opportunity)
Start date: ASAP
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience – (Umbrella or PAYE)
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Primary Class Teacher with strong SEN experience to join a specialist independent SEND provision in the Croydon area. This is a long‑term role with the potential to move into a permanent position for the right candidate.
You will be working with pupils who require a tailored, holistic approach to learning, using creativity, structure, and therapeutic strategies to support their academic and personal development. The school offers excellent support from a multi‑disciplinary team and values teachers who are nurturing, resilient and passionate about inclusive education.
What We’re Looking For
1. Qualified Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
2. Strong experience working with SEN pupils (ASD, SEMH, cognitive & communication needs)
3. Ability to deliver engaging, differentiated learning for small class groups
4. Confident managing additional adults in the classroom
5. A calm, patient and child‑centred approach
6. Available to start immediately
7. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
8. Easily contactable references from your two most recent employers (we must clear candidates for registration ASAP)
