Interim Deputy Company Secretary - Financial Services We are partnering with a leading Financial Services Business based in Nottingham that is looking for an experienced Interim Deputy Company Secretary to join its high-performing governance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned CoSec professional to take on a pivotal 6-month contract (with a strong likelihood of extending to 12 months). You will play a key role in supporting the Group Company Secretary, ensuring the business maintains the highest standards of corporate governance within a regulated environment. Perks Term: 6-month initial contract (with scope for extension to 12 months) Hybrid Working: Highly flexible – the on-site requirement has been reduced to just 4-5 days per month, specifically timed to support Board Meeting interactions Location: Based in Nottingham for on-site days, with the remainder worked remotely Sector Exposure: Gain high-level experience within a sophisticated Financial Services framework Salary: The role operates on a day rate of £400-600 per day, depending on experience What You'll Be Doing As the Deputy Company Secretary, you will lead on several critical workstreams, including: Board & Committee Management: End-to-end management of the Board cycle, including the preparation of high-quality agendas, board packs and minute-taking for key committee meetings Corporate Governance: Advising on best practice governance and ensuring compliance with the UK Corporate Governance Code and relevant financial regulations Statutory Compliance: Managing all UK entity corporate filings and maintaining statutory registers to ensure they are airtight and audit-ready Stakeholder Engagement: Acting as a trusted point of contact for the Chair, Non-Executive Directors and senior management during on-site Board sessions Project Support: Assisting with the Annual Report process and any ad-hoc corporate transactions or subsidiary restructuring projects About You We are looking for a technically gifted professional with the gravitas to operate at a Deputy level.
