The Role
You will teach Music to students from KS3–KS4, with the possibility of A-Level and BTEC Music at KS5 for the right candidate. The school is well-equipped with music technology and encourages live performance, composition, and cross-cultural exploration of musical traditions.
Key Duties:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop performance, composition, and music appreciation

Direct school ensembles and lead performances throughout the academic year

Promote inclusive music-making and support individual instrumental development

Collaborate with visiting peripatetic teachers and arts professionals
Candidate Requirements

QTS and a degree in Music or Music Education
*
Strong understanding of a broad musical repertoire and teaching techniques

Competent with music technology (DAWs, notation software, recording)
