As Lead Front end engineer at Vaarst youwill provide both technical and leadership to build and improve thefrontends across a range of new and existing Vaarst products.Initially you will focus on our data platform (Vaantage Vaantage 3Dand Vaantage AI) products working primarily in Typescript and Reactemploying highquality software engineering practices to mature andimplement new features. You will help guide and build a consistentdesign across all Vaarst products includingSubSLAM.

* Takingownership and leading the development of highquality frontends forour products putting the user experience at the forefront providingvision and direction for the team.
* Communicateand collaborate with designers the product team and otherstakeholders onboth technical and designdiscussions
* Modifying and testing changes topreviously developed products
* Breaking down andmanaging requirements building appropriatesolutions
* Contribute to and uphold agiledevelopment practices prioritising multiple tasks and projectseffectively.
* Learn new technologies staying upto date with the latest frontend and design tools incorporating atechfirst approach.
* Maintain high quality frontend in both appearance and the code behind it with a high level ofattention todetail.
Aboutyou & what you willbring
Werelooking for an experienced and talented software engineer who haswhat it takes to make a real impact in this role. (we know itstough but please try to avoid the confidence gap. You dont have tomatch all the listed requirements exactly to be considered for thisrole):
* Write and maintainproductionlevel code
* Developing and testingsolutions to complex problems in Typescript andReactJS
* Using endtoend testing frameworks suchas: Cypress Selenium and Playwright
* LeveragingAPIs and data sources to build interactive and engagingapplications
* Git & GitHub CI/CDtoolchains and containers
* An eye for detailand gooddesign
Growtogether with Vaarst you may have skills in the following if notyou will learn and develop yourskillsin:
* Expertise indesign and UX
* Design systems and tools such asFigma
* Redux and web bundlers such as Webpack
