Overview
The role supports the maintenance of hotel facilities to ensure smooth operations and an exceptional guest experience. The Maintenance Assistant reports to the Maintenance Manager and is part of a team based at Holiday Inn Chester South CH4 9DL.
Responsibilities
* Support the management of all maintenance requirements across the hotel, including infrastructure, repairs and renovations
* Conduct planned preventive maintenance and systematic testing of rooms and electrical equipment, including carpentry, plumbing, painting and decorating
* Ensure the safety and smooth operation of the hotel to guarantee an exceptional guest experience
* Respond to maintenance emergencies
Other titles for this role may include Maintenance Person, Assistant Multi Trader, Property Maintenance Assistant, Facilities Maintenance Assistant.

What you’ll bring to the team
You will spend a lot of time on your feet and unloading heavy deliveries, so good physical fitness is required. Efficiency in a fast-paced environment and strong communication skills are key. You should be able to follow instructions and be adaptable to meet the needs of both the company and guests.
