About the role: Are you a patient, resilient and methodical administrator looking for an opportunity to work in Corserv Care’s finance team?
We are looking for a Finance Administrator to support with customer calls and assisting with payments. We have a fantastic finance team working out of modern offices in Bodmin and some hybrid working from home. We have on-site parking and are on the main bus routes. In this key role, you'll provide vital finance administrative support, taking calls and making outbound calls in relation to payments, and supporting our customers to keep their account up to date. Role Purpose: The Finance Team supports the Corserv Care division and aims to provide a finance service to the care service areas of STEPS, Care & Support, Lifeline and Assisted Living, Employment Services, Day Opportunities and Respite Services.
What you'll be doing:
Covering the phones for incoming and outgoing calls between core hours.
Receiving and dealing with customer/family queries about their invoices, escalating issues/problems and adding appropriate notes to our system.
To ensure the chasing cycle is performed according to the monthly schedule, by contacting customers regarding unpaid invoices and to maintain an accurate schedule of outstanding/overdue invoices.
To ensure that adequate records are kept so your colleagues can deal with day to day AR duties. To support the debt collection team as required.
To raise and resolve queries with Council colleagues, ensuring Purchase Orders are received/used correctly.
About you:
1. Current right to work in the UK
2. Good verbal skills for telephone work and written communication skills
3. IT Skills, including excel spreadsheets and databases
4. Empathy and a passion to support customers on the telephone
5. Excellent attention to detail
6. Great time management
