Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Planning Engineer to join a leading main contractor based in Norwich and take ownership of the construction programme on a high-profile scheme, working closely with operational, commercial, and project management teams to drive programme certainty and performance.
Responsibilities
* Create and maintain detailed construction programmes using Primavera P6.
* Track progress and report to senior management.
* Identify risks, opportunities and propose mitigation strategies.
* Conduct site visits to monitor progress and adherence to the schedule.
* Prepare regular reports highlighting key project metrics.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Senior Planning Engineer in complex civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
* Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts.
* Expertise with Primavera P6.
* Strong site-based planning experience and ability to influence project teams.
* Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

* Starting salary up to £80,000 per annum.
