Overview
Feature Architect - High Voltage Powernet Domain – Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd. Drive the Future of Aston Martin with a focus on management systems, plug-in charging and electrification systems. This role is for individuals who want to influence the future behaviour of some of the world’s most iconic cars through Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
We are looking for a Feature Architect - High Voltage Powernet to join our team, specialising in management systems, Plug-in charging and electrification systems. If you’re passionate about turning ideas into reality through MBSE, this is an opportunity to shape automotive features from concept through to delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Translating bold ideas into feature specifications and system requirements.
* Using MBSE tools (Polarion, Capella, Siemens modelling) to design logical, functional and system architectures.
* Defining system requirements and ensuring feature compliance with SOTIF (ISO21448) and Cyber Security (UNECE R155).
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams – from vehicle engineering and production to suppliers and test engineers – to ensure features integrate seamlessly.
* Addressing complex issues, guiding resolution and keeping projects on track.
What You’ll Bring
* A degree in Electrical, Automotive or Systems Engineering (or equivalent) with a strong foundation in automotive or embedded systems.
* Experience with MBSE methodology and the automotive V-cycle; ability to translate stakeholder requirements into practical system architectures.
* Working knowledge of network protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, Wi-Fi) and diagnostic standards (UDS/ODX).
* Familiarity with requirements capture tools (Polarion or DOORS) and CAN tools (Vector, CAPL scripting).
* Analytical mindset with the ability to balance detailed work with the bigger picture. Experience with AUTOSAR, E2E communication protection, or cross-domain work is advantageous.
