Role Summary
* You will work with the Psychiatry of Old Age Services, Angus, in the Post Diagnostic Dementia Service, supporting individuals diagnosed with dementia over a minimum of 12 months.
* Provide flexible and person‑centred care to older people with dementia and mental health conditions.
* Access clients across the whole of Angus in your day‑to‑day role.
* Achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and comply with the Code of Conduct throughout employment.
Qualifications & Skills
* Flexible approach to working and a demonstrated interest in dealing with older people with dementia and mental health conditions.
* Excellent communication skills (written and IT), basic numeracy skills and a caring, understanding nature.
Hours of work: 37 hours per week.
