You will work closely with production engineers to design, test, and implement both simple and complex fixtures, primarily using SolidWorks. The role demands proficiency in 3D modelling, project management, and continuous improvement, with a focus on enhancing production efficiency and quality. Responsibilities: Design and develop assembly fixtures and moulding tools for production lines, ensuring designs meet manufacturing requirements. Provide technical support in fixture development, troubleshooting, and process optimization. Use CAD and CAE tools to develop models, run simulations, and create detailed drawings. Qualifications: Strong expertise in SolidWorks 3D CAD software for assembly and detailed design. At least 3 years of experience in fixture and tooling design, particularly for rubber or polymer moulding. Knowledge of conventional and modern manufacturing methods Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
