Role Definition
The Intake Administrator plays a key role in supporting the intake function by ensuring all administrative, documentation, and system processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner. The role supports intake operations by maintaining data integrity, traceability, and compliance with company procedures, food safety standards, and legal requirements.
Working within a chill production environment, the Intake Administrator is accountable for the efficient processing of intake data, liaising with internal departments, and ensuring that intake records meet customer, legislative, and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, report, and record any intake discrepancies, damages, or non‑conformances to suppliers and site team
* Escalate intake issues to QA, Intake, or Management as required
* Update intake procedures and spec
* Maintain intake logs, reports, and stock records as required
* Ensure product set up in maintained to changing specs
* Support traceability, audit, and recall activities when required
* Promote best practice in food safety & quality, and compliance across intake and production areas
* Carry out any additional administrative duties reasonably requested by the line manager
Pay & Shift Pattern: Negotiable, Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm

* Must be confident and a clear communicator in English
* A team player with the ability to be self sufficient
* Proven interpersonal skills
* Must be highly organised and have excellent attention to detail
* To be able to work under pressure
