Sure Start Staff are recruiting Street Cleansing Operatives to work outdoors, maintaining public spaces. Location: Oldham Hours: Mon–Thurs: 7:30 am–4:00 pm / Fri: 7:30 am–12:10 pm Pay: £12.71 per hour You will be part of a team responsible for street cleansing work across the town, contributing to excellent service delivery. You will carry out tasks such as sweeping, collecting, and removing litter, glass, furniture, graffiti, fly-posting, dirt, leaves, and weeds. Duties include: * Litter picking and emptying bins * Sweeping pavements * Reporting graffiti and fly-tipping * Outdoor work in all weather * Manual labour, including walking and lifting Requirements: * Full clean driving licence – PREFERRED * Physically fit and health & safety aware * Two years of references required Sure Start Staff act as an Employment Agency for permanent roles and an Employment Business for temporary opportunities
