Salary: NJC Grade 8 £31,586 to £34,314 per annum
Contract Type: Fixed Term/Secondment until 31 March 2026
Working Pattern: 37 hours per week, full time
Location: Chichester with the opportunity for some hybrid working

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive individual to lead on data systems and compliance for our Skills Bootcamps programme as a Management Information Quality and Compliance Officer.
Your role is to ensure all data, reporting, and compliance requirements are met, accurately tracked, and fully compliant with the Department for Educations (DfE) funding rules.
You will act as the main point of contact for funding bodies and partners, collaboratively working with a range of teams and stakeholders to monitor projects, performance targets, and managing purchase orders and payments.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
1. Lead on implementing and maintaining data systems to ensure accurate reporting and full compliance with Department for Education (DfE) funding rules.
2. Act as the main point of contact for data and compliance queries from partners, stakeholders, and funding bodies.
3. Monitor and report on programme performance, financials, and funding claims.
4. Manage provider payments and ensure accurate financial transactions.
5. Conduct audits, provide compliance guidance, and ensure alignment with DfE regulations.
To be successful in this role, you will need attention to detail with the ability to work to tight deadlines. We are looking for someone who is proactive and who can communicate complex compliance requirements clearly, whether through verbal, written, or presentation means.

WSCC has been successful in securing significant funding from the Department for Education (DfE) to deliver a range of Skills Bootcamps. These are flexible courses for adults that typically last up to 16 weeks and cover multiple sectors.
Skills Bootcamps help individuals develop priority skills in high-demand areas, working in partnership with training providers and employers.
As part of the Government’s nationally funded skills offer, these courses are free to West Sussex residents aged 19 and over who are in work, self-employed, unemployed, or returning to work.
