Main purpose of role: Book appointments for financial advisers by contacting new and existing clients while providing a 5-star service. Grow knowledge and experience working alongside qualified advisers with the aim of providing mortgage & protection advice to clients once qualified.

Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.30pm
Key Responsibilities:
1. Selling Mortgage and Life Products
o Follow up leads and book appointments for potential new clients
o Follow up mortgage reviews and generate appointments
o Sit in on client appointments and draft follow-up communications
o Recommend the best deal for the client
o Print illustrations and comparables
o Recommend Life cover, prepare life quotes, and follow through to close
o Place Mortgage and life cases on the Smartr system
2. Systems and Processes
o Learn the Mortgage Brain System
o Obtain Agreements In Principle (AIP) prior to submission of full application
o Research quotes on Mortgage Brain
o Become fully conversant with the Smartr system
o Understand electronic identification process (EIDV)
3. Research and Market Knowledge
o Research mortgage products to identify the best deal for the client
o Recommend panel Solicitors
o Understand different types of surveys
o Ensure Sesame Learning Plans are dealt with as they fall due
o Read and understand Sesame compliance manual
Requirements:
* Proven interest and skills in sales
* Thorough understanding of all applicable legislation (list key requirements)
* Committed to studying for CEMAP 1, 2, and 3 examinations

* Familiarity working within the estate agency or mortgage environment is preferred
