What you will do:
– Conduct comprehensive community assessments to identify client needs and recommend both standard and specialist equipment for enhanced living.
– Plan and facilitate adaptations, ranging from minor tweaks to major renovations, that ensure clients’ homes are safe and functional.
– Perform thorough manual handling assessments, promoting safe practices and adherence to guidelines.
– Collaborate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals to develop personalised support plans that truly make a difference.
– Maintain detailed and accurate records in compliance with professional and legal standards.
Requirements:
– Registration with HCPC as an Occupational Therapist is essential.
– At least two years of experience in a relevant field enhances your capability to thrive in this role.
– A full driving licence is preferable to enable easy travel between sites and better client service.
