The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, driving sales, and ensuring that the shop runs efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and organisation. Responsibilities: Supervise and manage shop staff to ensure optimal performance and teamwork. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet targets and enhance customer satisfaction. Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and administrative tasks. Communicate effectively with team members to foster a positive work environment. Train and mentor new employees in retail management practices and customer service excellence. Maintain an organised shop layout that enhances the shopping experience for customers. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Monitor sales performance and prepare reports for upper management as required. Solid knowledge of food safety regulations, cleanliness standards, and ensuring the shop consistently passes health inspections. Knowledge or training in cooking a variety of authentic African and Kenyan dishes is crucial.
