Trainee Social Worker (Annex 21) role at NHS Highland.

Responsibilities
* The Trainee Social Worker will be based with the Mid Ross Social Work Team based in Dingwall Health Centre. The team is busy but supportive and works with adults over the age of 16 in the Mid Ross area.
* The case work is generic in nature, interesting and varied. Duties include statutory work, person-centred outcome-focused assessments, and dealing with and managing complex situations and issues.
Qualifications and requirements
* Be able to meet the demands of an Honours Degree in Social Work programme.
* Demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills.
* Have the equivalent of at least one year of experience (paid or unpaid) in a social care environment.
* We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is looking for the opportunity to develop their career to qualified level, with good communication skills and evidence of potential to reach a high standard of professional verbal and written communication in a range of environments.
Salary and training
* This post with Annex 21 applied is paid a percentage of the fully qualified rate during the training period: Year 1: 60% of the pay band maximum; Year 2: 65%; Year 3: 70%; Year 4: 75% of the pay band maximum. If you fail to complete the training required for this post, the duties of your post may be reviewed.
* This is a full-time 37 hours per week post, working as per service requirements.
