Strategist

NEW YORK CITY, USA (Hybrid Working - 3 days in the office per week)

A benchmarked salary between $95, to $, based on your level within our progression framework. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employees/applicants skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.

Someone who gets their kicks from the thinking over the doing. Someone with a deep understanding of how social platforms work and how brands can drive tangible value from them. Someone who actually gets excited by a killer deck.

Youll play a key role at the start of a clients journey with Born Social. Youll pore over the brief, dissect the problem and identify the opportunity - creating a social strategy with effectiveness right at its core. Youll then be responsible for working with the Account Team, ensuring it gets delivered as intended.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

1. Conducting research, interviews, brainstorming sessions and workshops

2. Developing a clear understanding of clients business environment and strategy

3. Performing competitive analysis, identifying opportunities in the landscape

4. Keeping in tune with new behaviours, platforms, tools that are changing the landscape

5. Generating strong actionable insights informed by data

6. Pitching and presenting, at both new business stage and project delivery

7. Setting robust KPIs to measure effectiveness of the strategy

8. Writing case studies and awards entries, proving effectiveness of our work

9. New business & growth:contributing to the winning new business through pitches and proposals, leading on the strategic direction. Developing Born Socials industry profile in the US through talks and presentations, blogs, webinars, etc.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

10. You've got at least 2 years agency experience in a strategy or account planning role

11. You have a deep understanding of social media and how it can be harnessed for a variety of businesses

12. Ideally, you've worked with financial services brands previously and have a good understanding of the industry sector

13. You have a in-depth understanding of various strategy and insight frameworks

14. You've got track record of conducting in-depth research and developing actionable insights

15. You've got solid deck writing and presentation skills

Standard working hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, theres flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it will also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
