Thisis an exciting opportunity to be part of a team maintaining and improving thehighway drainage infrastructure across the City. With some highway and drainageexperience, you will join the performance driven Highway Services Team.
Aboutthe Role
Asan enthusiastic and effective Engineer, you will be part of a team of engineersof varying levels of experience delivering a wide variety of highways ordrainage projects to time and budget.
Theteam is responsible for project delivery ranging from minor drainage / highwayimprovements to help protect people and property. You will be responsible forthe detailed design of schemes and assist in the supervision of theirconstruction. Working within the political and business environment of theCouncil you will develop strong positive relationships with clients, colleagues,and partners across all service areas. You will need to think creatively andwork collaboratively, seeking opportunities to assist in improving servicedelivery in line with the Council’s objectives.
Therole is based at Swinton Hall Road Depot and your attendance at the office willreflect the needs of the team and the business. Some site attendance will alsobe required throughout the City.
