* Grade: 7C
* Salary: £16549.26 - £18127.89 per annum
* Hours: 17.5 Hours
* Contract Duration: Permanent
Role Responsibilities
The Senior Technical Technician will:
* Inspect and maintain technical and science equipment across nine secondary schools, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation.
* Guide the day-to-day operation of technical technicians in schools as part of the Technician Leadership Team.
* Invest in best practices while acting as an interface with technicians and schools on new developments and the co-ordination of technician and teacher training.
A vehicle will be provided as part of this role. This role works alongside the Senior Science Technician to support and promote best practice.
Essential Qualifications
* SVQ or equivalent qualification in mechanical maintenance or equivalent experience
* A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post
