UK Infrastructure - Water and Utilities

In this role, you will provide pre- and post-contract / commercial management advice and partner with our customers. A typical day could include:
1. Providing strategic review of commercial model and contract
2. Contract administration
3. Reviewing and advising on the commercial impact of contract matters, including proposed changes to requirements and works information
4. Adjudicating and advising on contractual entitlement of Compensation Events
5. Managing Change and Risk through EWN's and CE's
6. Approval of key Subcontracts and production of project reports
7. Reviewing proposed procurement strategies and supply chain matters
8. Recommending on subcontract tender reports
9. Processing Applications for Payment
10. Adjudicating and advising on Quotations for Compensation Events
11. Leading or attending Commercial / Contract meetings
12. Ensuring compliance with Quality Management Systems, processes, and procedures
Proven experience working or supporting UK Infrastructure Projects, preferably in Water and Utilities, is essential.
Requirements include:
* Experience with NEC3 / 4 contracts
* Experience working with corporate risk and audit functions
* Experience in cost verification, internal/external audits, and financial reviews on infrastructure projects
* Effective communication skills, both oral and written
* Methodical approach to work
* Good organizational skills and adaptability
* Strong negotiation, finance, and numeracy skills
* Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools like Power BI
* Experience with contract management systems
* Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements quickly
* Teamwork and leadership skills
* MRICS membership or working towards it
