Straight-Line Civils are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a client in Winfrith. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems across plant or site operations. You will ensure that all systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: * Perform planned preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems * Install, commission, and calibrate instruments including pressure, temperature, level, and flow sensors. * Diagnose faults in PLCs, SCADA systems, and other automation/control systems * Support electrical maintenance of motors, switchgear, and power distribution panels * Maintain and update control system documentation * Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations * Participate in plant shutdowns, upgrades, and project installations * Respond to emergency maintenance calls and support 24/7 operations if needed Qualifications: * NVQ L3/ City and Guilds/HND or HNC * 17th or 18th edition electrical certification * Knowledge of DCS, SCADA, PLC and field instrumentation * Familiarity with ATEX environments is a plus Skills: * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills * Proficiency with test equipment * Good communication and te...
