Your expertise will help deliver solutions that are affordable, deliverable, and future-ready, supporting decarbonisation goals and improving passenger experience. From overseeing design reviews and tender evaluations to managing testing and commissioning processes, your work will have a direct impact on the success of major rail projects. This is more than a job-it's a chance to shape the future of rail transport, influence industry standards, and leave a lasting legacy in sustainable mobility. * Proven experience in introducing new rolling stock or maintaining existing fleets. * Strong knowledge of rail vehicles and systems from experience with a consultant, manufacturer, operator, or infrastructure manager. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). * Understanding of modern rolling stock systems and willingness to learn emerging technologies. * Ability to lead tasks or work as a key team member, with strong customer focus. * Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills. * Strategic mindset with problem-solving ability, adaptability, and resilience. * Degree/HNC or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or similar. * Ability to travel within the UK, Ireland, and internationally as required.
