Labcorp is seeking Laboratory Scientist to join our team at Shardlow, Derbyshire.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday – 37.5hrs

Job Responsibilities:
1. Conducting and performing studies relating to study plan protocols using appropriate instrumentation with routine and non-routine methods with multiple organisms
2. Maintaining study documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines working to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)
3. Collating data and accurate data recording
4. Participate in QC review of selected routine data
5. Maintaining / upkeep of laboratory and work area
6. Husbandry tasks with various aquatic and terrestrial organisms
Minimum Qualifications:
7. GCSE level standard in Science, Biology, Maths and English
Preferred Qualifications:
8. Home Office licence PIL A/B
Additional Job Standards:
9. Worked within all areas using GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) or have knowledge of GLP
10. Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication, time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple studies
11. Attention to detail and consistent accuracy whilst managing multiple changing priorities
12. Some weekend work and overtime hours required
13. 12 month Fixed Term Contract
