A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Consultant Psychiatrist to work in an exceptional rehabilitation service based in Widnes, Cheshire area. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.
This state of the art facility has two areas: a locked assessment and rehabilitation for women with complex mental health needs and personality difficulties.
To be considered for this position you must have an MRCPsychiatry or equivalent with full GMC registration.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure that people admitted are assessed, treated, and discharged safely
* Medication management
* Quality assurance, complaints and co‑production
* Delivery of NICE guidance
* Lead and manage the CPA and ICR process to ensure full compliance with quality standards
Preferred Skills and Experience
* Innovative and imaginative with the ability to initiate corporate decisions
* In-depth understanding of current developments in psychiatry and mental health
* Substantial knowledge of change management, relevant legislation, contemporary mental health issues, and purchaser/provider contractual matters
* Previous consultant experience
