Overview
Data Management Specialist (US Citizen required) role at Boeing – on-site with the Boeing Field Services Team at RAF Brize Norton, United Kingdom. US citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance are required.
Responsibilities
* Work within a team of data management specialists to process customer logistics data records sourced from aircrew and technicians operating and maintaining the RAF’s C-17 Globemaster fleet. Ensure timely processing to support airworthiness and serviceability of the aircraft.
* Transcribe data into secure and controlled systems, such as the US Air Force FMxC2 (G081) maintenance information system, the C-17 Standard Flight Data Recorder repositories, and the C-17 Engine Optical Quick Access Recorder repositories.
* Maintain data quality, keep process and accountability records, and complete final data disposition through reporting processes.
* Receive on-the-job training as needed; no prior aircraft maintenance background required.
Qualifications
* Essential: strong written and oral communication skills; ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Proficient in entering, editing, and retrieving information in database systems.
* US Citizenship and right to work in the UK.
Preferred Skills/Experience
* Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and VBA; strong attention to detail and general computer literacy.
* Prior experience with maintenance information systems is highly desirable.
* Experience in an office environment requiring flexibility and prompt responses to ad-hoc customer requests.

* Employment is dependent on the ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance; US citizenship is a requirement.
