(465 hours worked over the year) (532.7 hours paid including holiday) Type of Contract: Annualised - Permanent Do you want to support the largest know Roman villa in the New Forest? Rockbourne Roman Villa is the largest known Roman villa in the New Forest area, and we are looking for a Visitor Experience Assistant to work alongside the existing team to make every customer’s visit a world class experience. You will find yourself welcoming and guiding visitors through the venue brining the variety of exhibitions to life, coordinating day-to-day operations, leading the venue volunteers, and playing a vital role in ensuring visitors and schools have a memorable experience. This role is expected to be summer-time focused due to the venues opening hours. A bit about you You’ll be a people person and will enjoy meeting new customers every day. You’re comfortable with working under your own initiative often without direct supervision. You’ll understand and value exceptional customer service using your excellent communication to bring this to life and will love putting your excellent people skills to use to make every visitor feel valued and welcome. And you’ll have an interest, possibly even a passion, for all things Roman and heritage.
