Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice to join our team. This role is designed for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment while developing essential skills in patient care and medication administration. The Apprentice will work closely with experienced professionals, receiving guidance and support throughout their training.
Duties
* Assist in the administration of medications under the supervision of qualified staff.
* Provide direct patient care, ensuring comfort and support during their treatment.
* Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and medication administration.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of pharmacy practices and patient care techniques.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
* Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of medication administration processes is advantageous.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
* A commitment to providing excellent patient care and support.
* Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required.
