Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Writer to support the development of high-quality scientific and medical communications in the field of oncology, with a focus on scientific publications and congress materials. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with clinical, medical affairs, biostatistics, and external investigators to develop manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations that communicate clinical and scientific data clearly and accurately.
Experience in Oncology, particularly prostate cancer and PET/CT (including PSMA PET imaging), is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and writing of scientific publications, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and oral presentations for peer-reviewed journals and scientific congresses.
* Support publication planning and execution in alignment with publication strategies and timelines.
* Translate clinical and imaging data into clear, accurate, and scientifically rigorous content.
* Collaborate with internal subject matter experts, clinicians, statisticians, and external investigators to interpret study results and ensure scientific accuracy.
* Manage multiple publication projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
* Ensure all materials comply with ICMJE, GPP, and company publication policies.
* Assist with the development of scientific communication materials, including slide decks, literature reviews, and medical information documents.
* Conduct literature searches and data synthesis to support publication development.
* Coordinate author review cycles and manage feedback during manuscript preparation.
Required Qualifications
* PhD, PharmD, MD, MSc, or equivalent in life sciences, biomedical sciences, pharmacy, or related field.
* 2–5+ years of medical writing experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or medical communications settings.
* Demonstrated experience developing peer-reviewed publications and congress materials.
* Strong understanding of clinical research methodology and biostatistics.
* Excellent scientific writing, editing, and communication skills in English.
* Ability to manage multiple complex projects and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in oncology, particularly prostate cancer research.
* Familiarity with medical imaging modalities such as PET/CT, PSMA PET, or other diagnostic imaging technologies.
* Experience writing about radiopharmaceuticals, imaging biomarkers, or nuclear medicine.
* Knowledge of publication guidelines including ICMJE, GPP2022, and CONSORT.
* Experience working with global investigators and key opinion leaders (KOLs)
