Role Description:Undertake a range of accounting and establishment activities and provide services in support of the management accounting, financial accounting and establishment monitoring functions for the business.
Main Responsibilities:
* To support the Finance Business Partnering model within the wider organisation.
* To assist in the closure of the annual accounts and produce outturn data in accordance with legislation.
* To oversee certain exchequer functions as required.
* To ensure that financial systems, practices and procedures are sound and in accordance with Standing Orders and Financial Regulations.
* To liaise with internal and external auditors.
* To ensure balance sheet reconciliations are undertaken in line with agreed timescales
Experience and Skills
* Accounting qualification
* Experience of working in a finance department
* Experience of producing statement of accounts and year-end statements
* Able to meet deadlines, prioritise workloads and work independently
* Detail focussed
* High level Excel skills
