About the Role
Working hours: 07:30 – 16:30 Monday to Friday
Location: Brighouse, West Yorkshire
We're seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our growing Engineering team as a Maintenance Electrician. In this role, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience working on exciting projects alongside experienced Engineers. But this is more than just a job; it's an investment in your future.

Key responsibilities
* Maintain a strong health & safety awareness and push for zero incidents approach.Attend and resolve electrical machine breakdowns.
* Carry out electrical PPM activities in the planned time structure.
* Maintain and improve electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
* Work alongside a well-established operational and wider team, helping to improve the effectiveness of the team through collaboration and coaching.
* Offer regular feedback and ideas to improve the company's operational objectives.
* Enhance the engineering function with new ideas, standards, and structured ways of working
About you
* Apprenticeship trained at NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
* 18th edition certified.
* In your early career with 2-3 years of electrical infrastructure maintenance: distribution boards, final circuits, lighting, and controls
* Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning.
* A team player with excellent communication skills.
* Eagerness to learn new technologies and a willingness to take on challenges.
Desirable:
* Basic mechanical and fabrication skills.
* Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
* Working knowledge of Crane operations.
* Portable appliance testing experience.

* Salary : £47,000 - £50,000 per annum depending on experience
