Role Overview
We are seeking a Principal Safety Case Engineer in our Nuclear, Defence, and Civil division. The role involves work on nuclear power, naval nuclear programs, and decommissioning projects. It offers career growth and impactful work in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing Safety Cases (e.g., SJP, PCSR, PRS)
* Managing Modification/Design Change Submissions (LC/AC 22)
* Decommissioning activities
* Conducting Safety & Risk Assessments
* Regulatory interface and compliance
* Performing ALARP, deterministic, and probabilistic safety assessments
* Ensuring adherence to nuclear safety legislation and policies
* Engineering substantiation and safety studies (HAZOP, HAZAN, Criticality, Fire safety)
Candidate Profile
* Degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering
* Experience in nuclear or high-hazard industries
* Chartered Engineer or working towards it
* Proven track record in delivering nuclear safety projects
* Mentoring skills
