A full service law firm are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join their one of their offices. You will play a key strategic role in shaping the firm’s growth and reputation by working closely with Partners to drive initiatives, strengthen market presence and unlock new opportunities across practice areas.
The Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategic business development plans with Partners, supporting client relationship management, cross-referrals and growth opportunities.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity and client feedback to inform strategy and identify areas for expansion.
* Ensure consistent brand messaging across all communications and support the creation of thought leadership content with Partners.
* Prepare tailored pitches, proposals and high quality client materials, including credentials, case studies and presentations.
* Work with the Events team to deliver impactful client events, webinars and sponsorships that enhance the firm’s profile.
* Lead the Legal 500 and Chambers submissions process, managing drafting, evidence gathering, referee outreach and post feedback improvements.
* Deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns and optimise the firm’s online presence, website, SEO, PPC and social media to strengthen service visibility.
* Identify award opportunities and profile raising initiatives aligned with directory rankings and practice area ambitions.
The Candidate:
* Strong communication, collaboration and influencing skills, supported by solid strategic and analytical thinking to turn market insights into actionable BD activity.
* Proven business development experience ideally within legal or professional services with proficiency in CRM and BD tools and a good understanding of the sector.
* A relevant degree (or equivalent experience) that supports effective contribution to marketing, business development and firmwide growth initiatives.
