An incredible specialist school in Bracknell, catering to children with Social and Emotional Mental Health Needs, is looking for a bright and enthusiastic Mental Health Assistant. The role involves supporting the academic learning, emotional wellbeing, and behaviour of students aged 8 to 18. The school employs a therapeutic approach and offers training to the appointed Mental Health Assistant.
Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential. Graduates in relevant fields such as Psychology, Counselling, or Criminology are encouraged to apply.
This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work alongside on-site therapists and psychologists, with mentorship and shadowing opportunities. It provides invaluable experience for aspiring educational or occupational psychologists, therapeutic support workers, or SEN teachers.
