We’re a UK engineering and fabrication specialist working across energy, nuclear, defence, aerospace, and environmental sectors. Business is growing — and we’re looking for a Project Engineer who thrives on variety, complexity, and delivering one-off solutions.
The Role
Lead bespoke engineering projects from concept to commissioning. No production line repeat work — every project is different. You’ll coordinate across design, fabrication, welding, and site teams, keeping projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
What You’ll Do
* Own projects end-to-end — client liaison, fabrication, installation, commissioning
* Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, BS EN 1090, welding standards
* Manage project plans, schedules, budgets, risk, and scope
* Produce and control WPS, inspection/test plans, traceability records
* Solve technical challenges and drive continuous improvement
What You Bring
* Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Metallurgical Engineering (or similar)
* Heavy engineering experience — one-off/batch environments
* Strong knowledge of welding standards & processes (ARC, MIG, TIG)
* Hands‑on with ISO 9001 systems & technical documentation
* Proven track record delivering unique, tailored engineering projects
