SEN Teaching Assistant - 1:1 ASD Support Location: Rednal, Birmingham, B45 Weekly Pay: £460 - £500 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (term time only) Start Date: ASAP Contract: Long-term, Temp-to-Perm Long Term Futures is seeking a dedicated and supportive SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a child with ASD in year 4 in a welcoming primary school in Rednal. This role is offered on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. What the school is looking for: Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent). Experience: Minimum of 1 year supporting children with SEN, ideally ASD. Skills: Strong behaviour management skills, ability to adapt learning to meet individual needs, and experience with SEN strategies (e.g. visual timetables, Zones of Regulation, or Makaton). Knowledge: Understanding of how to support children with ASD both academically and emotionally.About the school: Located in Rednal, B45. Ofsted rated Good. Two-form entry primary school.
