We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and hospitality, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
Duties
* Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
* Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilising upselling techniques to enhance the dining experience.
* Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards at all times.
* Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.
* Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic math skills for processing payments.
* Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all guests receive prompt attention.
Qualifications
* Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, particularly in a front of house role.
* Experience in food preparation or culinary settings is an advantage.
* Strong knowledge of food safety practices to maintain hygiene standards.
* Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to upsell menu items effectively while providing exceptional customer service.
* A positive attitude with excellent communication skills to engage with guests and team members alike.

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
