Role Information
The school is seeking a practical, organised, and creative Art Technician to support teaching staff and students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing materials and resources for Art lessons (ceramics, paint, printmaking, textiles, photography)
* Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment
* Supporting students during practical work, including demonstrations
* Maintaining studios, ensuring clean and safe working environments
* Firing and maintaining kilns, where applicable
* Assisting with displays, exhibitions, and portfolio preparation
* Setting up and packing down workspaces for lessons
* Helping with digital art equipment, cameras, lighting, editing software
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety and COSHH requirements
The role is ideal for someone creative, hands-on, and passionate about supporting young artists.
