Job Title: CNC Machinist (Fanuc Experience)
Location: London NW9
Pay Rate: £15.00 - £17.00 per hour + holiday accrued
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 17:00; Fridays OFF (38 hours per week). Some flexibility may be required.
Job Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with strong Fanuc control experience to join a well-established engineering company based in NW9, London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled machinist who is looking for stable hours and a four-day work week.
Key Responsibilities
* Manufacture all components within agreed timescales
* Set a variety of CNC machine tools for operators as needed
* Use a wide range of measuring equipment to inspect small-batch components
* Maintain the agreed quality standards at all times
* Ensure all manufactured products are suitably protected for transit
* Follow the manufacturing plan and prioritise tasks accordingly
* Complete all manufacturing paperwork accurately and on time
* Execute tasks assigned by the Team Leader in a timely and efficient manner
* Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the work area
* Support team members with additional tasks as required
* Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment
* Perform other reasonable duties as needed
Requirements
* Proven experience as a CNC Machinist
* Proficient in working with Fanuc controls
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Skilled in using various measuring instruments (e.g. micrometers, verniers)
* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
