Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Senior Chef de Partie to join the kitchen at our busy 4★ hotel in Southport. The successful candidate will play a vital role in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, ensuring exceptional standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained.
Our kitchen delivers high-volume weddings, corporate functions, restaurant dining, afternoon teas, and lively themed events. This is a fast-paced environment where teamwork, independence, and attention to detail are essential.
The Role
As Senior Chef de Partie, you will support the senior kitchen team in delivering high-quality food across multiple service styles.
Key Responsibilities
* Run and manage your section during prep and service, including sole working periods
* Deliver consistent quality across banqueting and restaurant operations
* Support large wedding and event service (100–250+ covers)
* Maintain food safety and hygiene standards at all times
* Assist with stock control and minimise waste
* Train and support junior team members
About You
* Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a busy hotel, events venue, or high-volume restaurant
* Confident working independently as well as part of a team
* Strong banqueting experience preferred
* Organised, reliable, and detail-focused
* Positive, proactive attitude
