Our Digital Technology Group (DTG) plays a pivotal role in driving our technological advancements and supporting our strategic objectives. We are hiring a dedicated Senior Finance Analyst to join our finance team and serve as a key business partner to the DTG. As the Senior Finance Analyst, DTG Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis, insights, and support to the Digital Technology Group. You will collaborate closely with DTG leaders and stakeholders to understand their financial needs, drive strategic decision-making, and ensure the successful execution of technology initiatives. Business Partnering: Develop a deep understanding of the Digital Technology Group's objectives, priorities, and challenges. Partner with DTG leaders to align financial plans and resources with strategic initiatives and business goals Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to support decision-making within the DTG. Provide insights into financial performance, trends, and opportunities for optimisation Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with DTG stakeholders, including technology leaders, project managers, and cross-functional teams. Serve as a trusted advisor on financial matters and actively participate in strategic discussions Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports related to the Digital Technology Group. Conduct thorough validation and reconciliation of financial information to identify discrepancies and mitigate risks Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics for DTG projects and initiatives. Monitor progress against financial targets and highlight areas for improvement or intervention Ad Hoc Analysis: Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and scenario modelling to support strategic projects, investment decisions, and resource allocation within the DTG. Respond promptly to management inquiries and provide actionable insights Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and optimize resource allocation within the Digital Technology Group. Implement best practices and leverage technology to drive efficiency and effectiveness ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent Exceptional business partnering and stakeholder management skills Proven ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and influence decision-making at all levels of the organisation Experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably with a focus on business partnering or supporting technology functions Ability to work independently Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail Ability to dissect complex financial data, identify trends, and draw actionable conclusions Proficiency in financial budgeting and forecasting techniques Advanced Excel skills required; experience with ERP systems and BI tools (e.g. D365F&O and PowerBI) is advantageous Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
