Key Responsibilities
As a Workshop Forklift Engineer, your duties will include:
* Servicing, maintaining, and repairing forklift trucks and material handling equipment
* Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic faults
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Conducting safety inspections and compliance checks
* Repairing electric, diesel, and LPG forklifts
* Completing breakdown repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
* Working on a variety of warehouse and industrial handling equipment
Skills & Experience Required

Essential Skills
* Strong mechanical and fault‑finding abilities
* Experience with hydraulics, electrics, and diesel systems
* Full UK driving licence
* NVQ / City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Maintenance, or Vehicle Repair beneficial but not a deal breaker if you don't have this
