This full-time role is ideal for an experienced teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and supporting pupils as they progress through Key Stage 2. The school has a strong community ethos, supportive leadership, and a clear focus on pupil achievement and wellbeing. You will take full responsibility for the Year 3 class, working closely with teaching assistants and year group colleagues to ensure engaging, inclusive, and effective lessons are delivered consistently.Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 3 curriculum.
* Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
* Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, providing clear feedback and next steps.
* Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with additional needs.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leaders.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to parents evenings and staff meetings.
* Support pupils academic, social, and emotional development.
The Ideal Candidate
* Holds QTS or equivalent.
* Has recent experience teaching in a UK primary school, ideally in Key Stage 2.
* Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Has excellent curriculum knowledge and the ability to differentiate effectively.
* Is committed to high expectations, pupil progress, and teamwork.
