Finance Position within Sherwin-Williams
This is an exciting role within our Finance department at Sherwin-Williams, part of the EMEAI Consumer Brands Group. The position focuses on inventory optimization, cost control, and margin enhancement, working closely with Supply Chain and Commercial teams in EMEAI.
The ideal candidate is a qualified finance professional with FP&A managerial experience or/and Commercial business partner experience in a global matrix organization. The role involves driving continuous improvement, leading cross-functional projects, and identifying opportunities to improve overall profitability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support inventory optimization initiatives including SKU rationalization and SLOB management.
2. Perform ROI analysis to maximize working capital and profitability.
3. Analyze changes in standard costs and primary causes.
4. Review Purchase Price Variance (PPV) and collaborate with other functions to address variances.
5. Prepare financial data and presentations for management.
6. Partner with Product Marketing & Sales to develop and report on new product business cases.
7. Participate in cross-functional projects.
8. Maintain product attribute data and ensure ERP consistency.
9. Create and manage channel, brand, and product reports.
10. Assist FP&A team with budgeting and forecasting.
11. Perform ad-hoc responsibilities as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or International Business.
* 3-5 years of experience in Accounting/Finance.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel functions (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX) and Pivot Tables.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and influence across a matrix organization.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in Inventory or Cost Accounting.
* Report building skills (e.g., Microstrategy).
* Experience in automation, standardization, and process improvements.
* Experience in FMCG, supply chain, and commercial functions.
