How will you make an impact & Requirement Role Mission As a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, you will lead high-impact process improvement initiatives across our Life Sciences Solutions business, driving measurable gains in efficiency, quality, and operational performance. In this role, you will identify, analyse, and deliver sustainable improvements that reduce waste, enhance productivity, and ensure compliance within a GxP -regulated environment. Working cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance (QA), Regulatory Affairs (RA), and Commercial teams, you will translate complex challenges into practical, data-driven solutions aligned with strategic business objectives. You will act as a catalyst for change, applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to embed a culture of continuous improvement. Through strong analytical capability, problem-solving expertise, and the ability to influence at all levels, you will drive lasting transformation and deliver meaningful business impact. Key Responsibilities Analyse existing processes, workflows, and systems to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement Lead and deliver cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma (DMAIC), Kaizen, and other structured methodologies Develop and maintain process documentation, including process maps, value stream maps, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Partner with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and measurable success criteria aligned to business priorities Apply data-driven analysis to assess process performance, identify trends, and validate improvement opportunities Implement and sustain process improvements that deliver measurable results in cost efficiency, quality, and cycle time reduction Lead change management activities, ensuring clear communication of project goals, progress, and outcomes across all levels Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to build continuous improvement capability and embed a CI mindset across the organisation Monitor post-implementation performance to ensure improvements are sustained and continuously optimised Develop and mentor Green Belt/Yellow Belt practitioners, strengthening organisational capability in Lean Six Sigma What We’re Looking For We’re looking for an experienced Lean Six Sigma professional with a strong track record of leading high-impact improvement initiatives in complex, regulated environments. You will bring expert-level problem-solving capability, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to influence and lead change across all levels of the organisation. Ideally, you are a certified Black Belt who thrives on delivering measurable business outcomes and embedding a culture of continuous improvement. Essential skills and experience: Proven experience (5–8 years) in process improvement, operations optimisation, or process engineering Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or Green Belt with clear progression toward Black Belt Demonstrated success leading cross-functional projects delivering measurable improvements in cost, quality, and efficiency Experience working within regulated environments ( GxP or similar), with strong understanding of compliance and validation requirements Strong analytical skills, including statistical analysis, root cause problem solving, and data-driven decision making Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver against defined objectives and timelines Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority Proficiency in relevant tools and systems, including process mapping software ( e.g. Visio, Lucidchart ), data visualisation tools ( e.g. Power BI), ERP systems ( e.g. SAP), QMS platforms, and Microsoft Office Willingness and ability to travel regionally and globally, as Desirable (but not essential): Experience within Life Sciences (Pharma, Biotech, Medical Devices, Diagnostics, or Laboratory Operations) Experience working in global or multi-site organisations Advanced application of Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kanban, and Poka-Yoke Experience coaching or mentoring Lean Six Sigma practitioners Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights Core competencies: Expert facilitation of workshops, Kaizen events, and continuous improvement initiatives across cross-functional teams Deep expertise in Lean methodologies and tools, including Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Kanban, 5S, and Poka-Yoke Strong structured problem-solving capability, with a focus on root cause analysis and data-driven decision making Ability to translate complex data into simple, actionable insights that drive business decisions Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise in fast-paced environments Strong coaching and mentoring capability to build continuous improvement knowledge and mindset across teams Ability to influence and drive change without direct authority Confident communicator with strong presentation and storytelling skills Comfortable operating in dynamic, highly regulated, multi-site environments What We Offer At Resonant, we’re more than a leading life sciences company, we’re a global team united by a shared purpose: the uncompromising pursuit of quality to help our customers move science forward.
