Join Our Hospital Pharmacy Team at Kettering General Hospital
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated pharmacists to join our team. We offer bespoke training for pharmacists transitioning from community pharmacy and support progression from Band 6 to Band 7 roles.
About the Role: This position involves rotations through various departments including medicine (cardiology, respiratory, care of the elderly, endocrine), urgent care (medical admission wards, ED, frailty unit), surgery, paediatrics, and acute admissions. Each rotation includes ward-based clinical commitments with dedicated senior pharmacist support and opportunities to develop confidence and skills through on-call pharmacist duties, providing out-of-hours service to the Trust.
Training and Development: You will have the opportunity to study for a postgraduate clinical diploma at De Montfort University, Leicester, designed in collaboration with hospital pharmacies in the East Midlands. We are also rolling out a dedicated ward pharmacy service to medical wards, enhancing clinical support and patient care.
