Finance Systems Manager – Perm or FTC
An exciting opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to develop within a large, listed organisation delivering complex, multi-entity projects. This is a key role within the Finance Systems team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and effective use of financial data, while providing insight to support decision-making at senior level. You’ll support the maintenance and improvement of finance systems, alongside delivering day-to-day system administration and user support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily, weekly, and monthly finance systems activities across Mercur (budgeting & reporting) and TEFA (timesheets).
* Own data integrity, system governance, and integrations within Mercur.
* Act as primary support contact for Mercur and TEFA, resolving user queries and system issues.
* Support administration of the Oracle ERP system, deputising as needed.
* Develop and document best practices, controls, and system processes.
* Monitor and improve data quality, including audits and data cleansing activity.
* Partner with FP&A to enhance reporting, dashboards, and KPI tracking.
* Work with external providers to develop and validate reporting outputs.
* Support finance system improvements and ad hoc projects.
* Manage and develop a junior team member.
Experience Required:
* Proven experience in a finance systems role.
* Hands-on experience with Mercur (essential), TEFA (essential), and Oracle ERP (preferred).
* Strong background in systems optimisation, reporting, or process improvement.
* Advanced Excel skills and strong overall systems capability.
