Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (Flexible start/finish: 08:30 - 17:30 or 09:00 - 18:00)

The Role
As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a key role in financial reporting and analysis, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strategic insight. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage high volumes of work within tight deadlines, and enjoys making a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Financial Controller in preparing and presenting monthly management accounts to the CFO.
* Manage the balance sheet and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
* Provide clear insights and justifications for monthly financial results.
* Maintain and enhance financial systems and processes, driving continuous improvement.
* Partner with regional managers and operations teams to resolve financial queries.
* Support the annual audit process and assist with change and simplification projects.
* Handle additional finance duties as required.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent).
* Technical Skills: Strong financial knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with finance systems.
* Experience: Background in change management is a plus.
* Attention to Detail: Accuracy and precision in financial reporting.
* Problem-Solving: Ability to challenge processes and drive improvements.
* Communication: Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
* Proactive Mindset: A self-starter who takes ownership and demonstrates initiative.
* Team Player: A collaborative approach, building strong relationships across teams.
