Site Supervisor / Foreman – Halifax (Immediate Start)
Location: Halifax, HX4
Start Date: Wednesday 27th May
End Date: Wednesday 3rd June
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Duration: 1 week (potential extension based on performance and competency on the tools)
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor / Foreman to oversee works on a residential property project. This position requires a balance of hands‑on involvement and effective site management. You will be responsible for coordinating trades, maintaining site safety, and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervising joiners, labourers, and subcontractors
* Providing hands‑on support, particularly with joinery tasks
* Assisting with scaffold erection and coping installation
* Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to (client is highly H&S focused)
* Completing daily reporting and maintaining full site compliance
* Liaising with project managers and ensuring work progresses to schedule
Requirements:
* SSSTS – essential
* Strong joinery background with the ability to assist on the tools
* Proven experience supervising trades on residential construction projects
* Solid understanding of site safety standards and compliance
* Ability to communicate clearly and manage workloads effectively
* Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
